I went shopping to our local mall a few weeks ago and got some bargains for fall.  This cute little blue dress was $13 in Dillard’s.  I bought it thinking it would work with my navy over knee boots and tights but it looked good with the brown accents, too.

These are lace up jeans, $13, from J C Penney with last season’s coral blouse from Old Navy. Paired with this year’s black ankle strap sandals from BOC – incredibly comfortable.

Since these photos were taken, I couldn’t resist trying out a new fall hair color.  Initially it was ‘golden light brown’ but when Teddy gasped at the ginger color, I immediately remedied it with ash blonde.  It is now the color of a new Penny – curiously my eyes now look really grey.

  13. Meant to add…I just found an amazing pair of clearance leather sandals at JC Penney, originally 49.99, bought on clearance for 7.04! You can’t beat that especially since they have a style and comfort level I would have chosen at even a higher price.

    1. That is an amazing bargain. It looks like JC Penney is going under so I would look for as many bargains as possible. When my great grandparents moved to Tucumcari in NM, there was a JC Penney – a sign of great wealth. Times change.

    1. Great to see you back. I have to confess that Osyth is the reason why I have lace up jeans. She told me that she got some from Europe and I wanted to look like the cool girl! Love to Vinny. I have just shouted at Toffee who spread poo and litter all over the utility room. Now I feel guilty since she is geriatric…lots of cuddles and treats.
