Rad New Hair

I was in the discount section of the supermarket and I saw reduced hair color.  Although it said it was light neutral blonde, it went Cersei red, previously known as strawberry blonde.  That provoked me to be unfaithful to my current hairdresser and try someone new.  For the husbands – this is an insight into the convoluted thinking of women.

My hair is really difficult to cut but I think she made a good job of my elfin request.  Two days later and it doesn’t really look that good anymore…  It really needs some product to fluff and separate it.  It is rodeo week in Houston so I dressed like a typical Texan cowgirl – the top is covered in sparkles, y’alls!

Happy Spring! 💐💐

    1. LOL! Chad – you do pay attention. I have indeed done this accidentally on more than one occasion. I used to dye it back to blonde immediately but since Game of Thrones, I have embraced a little red in my hair!

  1. If the look in the picture is what you’re trying to achieve, then I think it’s gorgeous, of course!
Gosh…I haven’t been to Houston in quite some time, nor been to a rodeo! I’m jealous! 😛

  2. You look FABULOUS! She certainly did a good job and you look so sassy in that cowgirl look. I’m sure you will find the right product to tame it now that it is fighting back … how well do I know THAT demon! I dub thee Strawberry Tart 🍓 💋 xx

    1. I love being called a strawberry tart!!! The jeans are from Walmart, the boots from DSW (if you ever visit TX it is a must) and the top is from the local thrift store, $5? I have a cupboard full of tamers for my coarse hair – sometimes I just use coconut oil. K x

  3. If I remember correctly, you have experimented with colouring your hair before 🙂 I think this is great ! A change is as good as a holiday (I think that is how the saying goes) Happy Spring to you 🙂 x

    1. Ha, ha, ha! I am always experimenting and if I go too ashy it looks gray and as soon as I go to plain old blonde, it seems to go red. It is the coarse texture of my hair (and the Irish red!)
